Reviews

Based on reviews I purchased this for my beginning student. I wouldn't call this a book for a beginner. To hash out why it's not great for the level of student I have:There are 20 songs.13 of those songs are in a key other than C (some F, G, D).1 of the songs in C is full of chords/notes using abundant sharps/flats so that one's out too.2 of the remaining use ledger lines because the songs are up in the high octave instead of being in the middle C octave that'd make them more doable for a beginner. So all in all I have 2 songs that my beginner will definitely be able to play, and 3 more that will be tough maybes. On the flip side, we might be able to use some of these songs to teach key signatures and ledger lines later on down the road.
